Hearts that reach out throughout the world.
United shoulder to shoulder,
to stop this from happening again,
not only to the United States, to other
countries that wish to be free from fear.
Hearts broken 'cause their loved ones never coming home again,
makes even the strongest person shed a tear.
Hands that reach out to dig through the rubble, in hopes of finding anyone alive.
Heros that rushed into the burning buildings not knowing
if they would come out.
True heros each, and everyone, from the fire fighters, to
the police, emergency medical technicians,
civilians and
dogs that have worked throughout the night.
No words can do justice for all involved in helping.
People who have given blood, and/or money to aid the
efforts.
To the people who have given food, and drinks to the rescue workers at the sites.
The people that gave their lives on flight 93 that
crashed in Shanksville Pennsylvania,
to save lives on the ground.
As hearts reach out throughout the land, let us never forget these heroes.
The Pentagon, and Twin Towers were just made from steal, wood, and masonry.
The heart of New York is not broken as they move forward,
and will not give in to the terrorist's that hijacked
those planes that day.
I will remember the military, and civilians who went
forward
working even as the Pentagon was burning to keep
us safe.
I will remember each, and every one of you
for the
courage, and strength you have, and are showing.
I will remember that day knowing how The American's and
our allies,
who have the spirit not to tolerate this from
happing again anywhere.
This was not just an act by one man to another.
It was a cowardly act to those all over the world
committed to peace.

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I'd worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
I'd thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can't take that away.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And I'm proud to be and American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
